Legacy of the Dragonborn: A massive and detailed mod that comes with a museum where you can put all the unique loot you have found in the game, a new guild, new perk trees, new dungeons, and more. In terms of quests or new lands, here are what I think to be the best. From there you can go to any mod that looks interesting, hit the subscribe button, Then wait for the game to mod to download. The only downside is that the workshop has a file size limit that hinders the types of mods that can go on it. You can go to the Steam workshop for skyrim and download some mods there. If this seems a bit overwhelming as I mentioned previously in this thread. These are all plug and go mods for the most part. I've tried to pic things that I do not think require any separate installs to make them functional. So please be sure to check the requirements section of any mod you download.

This game has been cracked wide open to a surreal extent and the ways people have broken open this games internals is an amazing thing to behold at times. Skyrim modding can be a giant thing though. I usually recommend these managers as they can tell you the exact mods causing any compatibility errors if you come across any. I personally use Nexus Mod Manager (because I am a fool that refuses to learn new things) rather then the newer tool Vortex (go to the weblink below to find both mod managers). Oh and speed and reach fixes, which adjusts the weapon hitboxes, and mortal enemies, whihc makes the enemies less aimbot like in snapping on to youĬlick to shrink. So fortunately for Skyrim there are some extremely friendly mod tools that anyone can use to automate the process of installing mods and managing them. It's one of those excellent total conversions that end up being better then the base game, definitely check it out some time if you get the chance. There are some really interesting combat mods around - I'd recommend something like Ordinator, which is a huge perk expansion and is nice and balanced while greatly expands variety in terms of play styles, and then a combat mod you like - something like Combat Gameplay Overhaul, which people seem to like, or maybe Engarde, which is substantially less popular but not bad -Īlso I second whoever was recommending Enderal - but it is a completely different experience then Skyrim.
